More about British Model Powerboat Racing Society
What and how we race -
Model powerboats of the off-shore type predominately petrol powered, with nitro power also an option. Engines can range in size from 3cc nitro, to 60cc pertrol, and race in classes dependent on hull type and engine size. Races are typically 15 minutes duration, and boats have to achieve as many laps as possible round a square course during this time. Rules, regulations and other information can be found in the "rules" page on this site, click here for the DETAIL.
